ABOUT

Hi, I’m Marija Nišić.

I would like to quote Edgar Degas: “Art is not what you see, but what you make others see”.

I’ve graduated from the Faculty of Applied Arts at the University of Arts in Belgrade, Department of Applied Graphics – Studio Photography.

Belgrade is my hometown, but I currently work as Art Director at the Olympic Center Jahorina.

My specialties are print design and photography, but I paint as well. I was very restless as a child and used to feel I could jump out of my skin. I found inner peace in painting.

Love for photography was brought to me at young age by my late father who was a photographer. He taught me how to remain creative and innovative, and some tricks too.

Painting, graphic design and photography inspired me as a student to start a project called “Pavasovic”. It was a studio led by a group of students of painting, graphic design, photography and sculpting.

Later on, I had exhibitions.
